Jennifer Walsh
Owner/Artistic Director

Jennifer has studied all genres of dance, as well as gymnastics, modeling and cheerleading for more than 40 yrs. She studied with Daurice McIntyre of Boston, AnnMarie Psota of Dance Explosion  and at teacher workshops throughout the Boston and New England area.

Jenn has taught with Daurice, AnnMarie and Sandwich Dance and Performing  Arts Center. She has performed all over the United States, and holds both state and National titles in tap, jazz and modeling. Jenn represented Norfolk County in the Miss Massachusetts Teen USA Pageant. She toured with the National Theater Guild production of Evita, and has appeared on local television.

In the last 25 years she has choreographed many award winning routines at both regional and national competitions  as well as directing our Annual recitals and Nutcrackers. Her choreography has recieved  Gold, high gold and platinum awards in both groups and solos.

She also has award winning production numbers at Dance Ovations, Turn it up Dance Challenge, Spirit of Dance and Elite Dance Challenge.

This year she is proud of her Line Production number being picked to be in the dance battle and placing 3rd overall at Elite Nationals.

In July 2002 Jennifer opened  Sandwich Dance Academy.  ( formerly known as Sandwich Dance & Performing Arts Center.)

Marie Sheehan
Assistant Director

Marie has many years of experience in all forms of dance, as well as baton and modeling . She worked at Daurice School of Performing Arts, teaching baton and as an assistant to Daurice McIntyre , choreographing dances for competions and recitals, her baton team , the starlets competed in regional baton competions winning First and second place medals.

She also coached several title winners throughout the New England area in regional and state modeling pageants. Marie is happy to have the opportunity to see the children enjoying themselves as they achieve their goals at Sandwich Dance Academy.

Hannah Carrita

Miss Hannah has been performing on stages across Cape Cod since she was 4 years old. She has acted in and choreographed productions at Cape Rep, Cotuit Center for the Arts, Tilden Arts Center, and Cape Cod Theater Company among many others. She is an alumnus of the SDA competition team, winning many special awards and high point trophies in her competitive career.

She began teaching at SDA at age 17 in 2012, and is very proud of everything her students (who she refers to as her Minions), both competitive and non-competitive have achieved over her years of teaching.

Miss Hannah wants her dancers to be fierce and fearless, and to believe as she does that they can do anything they set out to do. (They always prove her right!) In her other life, Miss Hannah is an EEC certified Pre-K teacher at West Parish Family School.

Kelly Cameron

Kelly, an SDA alumni, will be back for her 8th year of teaching at the studio.

Kelly graduated Dean College with a Bachelors degree in Dance, where she studied many genres of dance over the years. She was a member of the Dean Pom team, and is a former professional dancer for the Pirates Dance Team. Kelly teaches ballet, contemporary, and Hip - Hop.

Her choreography has received high gold and platinum awards at many regional and national competitions.

Kelly is excited to share her passion for dance with her students.

Alissa Pollen (Caputo)

Alissa danced at SDA and was one of Jenns first students at SCS dance program. She continued training at SDA and in her later yrs at Boston Ballet School pre prof track. Alissa taught through college summers at various studios on the Cape.

She was president of the dance team at Western New England University for 3 years. Alissa continued dancing and performing with Boston based Rainbow Tribe and Embrace Dance Companies.

Alissa has settled in Sandwich with her husband, and two young daughters, one of which is a proud SDA dancer. Alissa is so excited to share her passion for dance at SDA.
